Robbery At Shilpa Shetty’s Juhu Residence, Valuable And Expensive Items Stolen; Mumbai Police Arrest Two Suspect-Reports
Mumbai Police arrested two people in connection with a theft at Shilpa Shetty’s Juhu house
As per the latest media reports, a robbery took place at Shilpa Shetty’s house in Juhu last week while she and her husband Raj Kundra were on vacation. Mumbai police have arrested two persons in connection with the theft. Police officials revealed that some valuables were stolen from the actor's residence. A theft case has been registered at the Juhu police station and a probe was initiated, the official said.
Reportedly, Shilpa’s house was robbed when the actress was on vacation with his family in Italy. The two culprits climbed a 25-foot wall and entered the house. A police official investigating the matter was quoted as saying, “Both the accused scaled up a 25-foot wall from the Juhu beachside, despite many CCTV cameras and private security, they managed to give them a slip and enter the bungalow. Both the arrested accused are repeat offenders. Their faces came up in the footage but weren't clear as the break-in happened between 3 and 4 am. Our detection staff scanned nearly 70 CCTV footage until we were sure. We are investigating further to determine the stolen property.” ALSO READ: AWW! As reported by India Today, the two accused have been identified as Arjun Devedra and Chitta alias Ramesh Devendra. While Chitta, a Kartik Chawl resident, is a serial robber, Arjun, is a Nehru Nagar slum resident in Vile Parle West and has 15 cases of house break-in to his name. The complaint was lodged by housekeeping manager Shekhar Chaudhry after he noticed valuables and expensive items were missing in the master bedroom, hall, dining area, and her daughter’s room and from Shilpa’s daughter’s room.
Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty, who recently celebrated her 48th birthday on June 8, has been sharing stunning pictures and videos of her from her exotic holiday. Work-wise, she will next be seen playing a cop in Rohit Shetty's web series debut Indian Police Force. Apart from this, Shilpa also has an upcoming film Sukhee, directed by Sonal Joshi in the pipeline.
